It’s only been a few days, but she feels right at home amongst the chic accessories that Circle & Square has to offer. You get in because you can’t get out, you stay because you believe. They come together like a ring of fire. A spark at first, then a flare, a brush stroke, a storm. Images come from books, dreams, memories that you live and bury. Once the first lines are down, they take on a life of their own, no thought, no questions, just movement, one color after the next, in succession, without a pause. This goes on for quite some time and then in a flash it’s done. Not another drop, not another line. Immediately after they look like a scrambled mess, you can’t make out anything. You slide it over and onto the next. But the next day, after the pictures, some sleep, some coffee, you look back and they’re staring at you. You jump out of your skin because they are alive, talking, laughing and being together. One is sassy, the other shy, one a temptress, one an intellectual. They roll around in all your stories but the most rewarding is when they make their own. They forgive your mistakes and encourage you to go on. Their world is vast, they invite you in, and you accept because you can’t deny.
