TheFatAppleNYC.com is a blog started by Melissa “Mellie” Davis that aims to provide an inside look at Plus Size fashion and lifestyle as an industry in New York City and around the globe.
Ms. Davis believes women in general and plus size women specifically should have stylish and fashionable high-end options as well as quality moderately priced options at their disposal.
The Fat Apple, NYC Blogiversary will be a celebration of a site redesign and surviving 2 years officially in the blogging community. Scheduled for May 16th, 50 guests from the social media, blogging and fashion communities will be in attendance to join the revelry.
Brands will be on hand to present their products to attendees as they party in style in the Roomorama Relax Lounge, provided by Roomorama, an online marketplace for short term rentals.
Guests will sip on sponsored drinks and hors d’oeuvres. Guests will also leave the night with a curated gift bag inspired by the original diva Oprah. These bags will contain The Fat Apple, NYC’s “favorite things”. While there won’t be a car (“You get a car, YOU get a car!”) there will be a number of products that have been hand-picked with care.
